Well, Katelyn decided to make her appearance a little earlier than we expected. Her due date was April 1, 2009, but she decided March 26, 2009 was the day she wanted to come. The eventful day started Thursday morning, March 26, at 12 a.m., when my water broke. I had not slept well in three days and had not slept before going into labor. We worked through early labor at home until 6 a.m., when we arrived at St. Mark's. We labored until 10:42 a.m., when Katelyn Camille was born. She was born all natural, no medications required. She arrived to us weighing 6 pounds 10 ounces and 18 inches in length. She was happy and healthy and nursed well. Mom, Dad, and Baby did well and came home from the hospital on Friday, 24 hours after the birth.
